David and I bought our first house back in February '10. It's needed a lot of work and is our everyday project, but we love it. We're doing remodeling, renovations, and making it "home." The house we purchased started off as a multi family unit and we converted it back into a single family home. We now have a 6 bedroom, 3 full bath house. It's huge compared to the last place we lived, a rented 3 bedroom, 2 full bath house.
We also just welcomed baby #3, Lincoln Matthew, into this world on July 22, 2010. He is great! He looks a lot like Logan, but is now starting to grow into his own look. He's such a calm and happy baby so far. He's still in that eat, sleeps, and poops phase. Lily and Logan always try to talk and play with him, but of course he shows no interest in them yet. The big brother and sister love him to pieces. Logan sometimes too much. He doesn't quite get it yet! We're all still slowly adjusting to having another family member.
Life is great now. David and I both continue to work full time, while trying to find time to spend with the kids and each other!! I'm on maternity leave until October and then I'm hoping to go back part time. We'll see how that works out. Our plans for now are to continue working on the house and loving these little joys in our life as much as we possibly can!!
